At Change for Citizenship, we are proud supporters of Team TLC NYC, an organization dedicated to helping asylum seekers and migrants in the NYC area. They are also the operators of The Little Shop of Kindness – a free store offering clothing, shoes, toiletries, and other supplies for people to “shop”. Another organization we love to work with is The New-York Historical Society Citizenship Project. The Citizenship Project offers free civics test preparation classes for green card holders, as well as free online resources. We are currently engaging with additional NYC based organizations whose goal and mission is to help newly arrived immigrants to this country. We are excited to be planning additional events; please stay tuned for additional news.
