We worked with a student from Mexico to strengthen her English language skills and prepare for the U.S. citizenship test. After she successfully became a U.S. citizen, we continued supporting her English language learning and helped her understand the importance of registering to vote.
Her journey inspired a second success story right within her own family: we helped her son register to vote for the first time. Although he was born in the United States and was already a citizen, he had never registered. Today, he is training with a master plumber, with hopes of earning his own master plumber license and building a business in New York City. He is excited to vote because he knows it gives him a voice in shaping his future.
